Flower Garden
14:04I’m back with a floral design cut from my garden after my time off from being sick. I can’t believe it’s already September but it is and that means dahlias, sunflowers, grasses and hydrangea. The dahlias were a big surprise, they had such a slow start due to the heat this summer. Penhill Autumn Shades is new to me this year and it’s a surprise new favorite.

As I made the design I’ll talk you through tips to make better floral designs, there’s no shortage of people arranging flowers from their gardens on YouTube these days but as a professional, there are some simple things you can do to make your floral arrangements less challenging even when cutting from your garden. The vase is from Astier de Villatte, I got it in Paris many years ago and brought it home in a suitcase!
