he day then gets away from me as I stroll through a beautiful flower garden here in Knoxville, IA zone 5. The Garden was bursting with flowers. I really enjoyed my time there. There are so many things blooming, it is hard to keep track of it all. Gomphrena, Rudbeckia, Cone Flowers, Baptisia, Zinnias, Cosmos, Snapdragons, Bells of Ireland, Celosia, Scabiosa, Lilies, Hostas, Hydrangeas, Blue Sea Holly, Amaranth, Elephant Ear, and so much more. I would have to get the pro to name them all for me. lol. She was naming them and I was forgetting the names as we came to a new named flower I hadn’t heard of before. It was marvelous. I will try to get back out there this season and share the many flowers she has on the property.
Marsh’s Garden showcases how I am converting my cut flower garden into a cut flower farm. I show the process of starting a cut flower farm, my favorite flowers, how to grow flowers, how to start flowers from seed, how to care for flowers, and how to harvest flowers for beautiful farm fresh flower arrangements. I have a 1/2 acre cut flower garden. I hope my YouTube Video series is educational and inspiring to beginner flower farmers and beginner gardeners. I hope they are enjoyable to Master Gardeners and Growers as well.
