Gardening for Beginners
Join us for our February allotment tour from our allotment gardening for beginners in the UK series of garden tours and allotment tips for beginners. If you are a new allotment gardener or are just growing your own vegetables in a back garden veg patch then this tour will show you what we are doing on our UK allotment in February.

We grow a lot of our own food and aim for as much self sufficiency as we can get. We use our allotment garden and home back garden vegetable patch to grow as much organic good quality food as we can. We also have our own chickens in our home garden.

In this February tour we look at what jobs we are doing getting ready to start sowing seeds and growing seedlings in the spring. The weather could still be cold in February so we are not sowing seeds outside yet. On the allotment we are still harvesting our over winter vegetables and planning for the next growing season.
